Lovely colours and thank you for the well wishes, for us Canucks celebrating Thanksgiving earlier than our neighbours down south.
OCtober with the FAT October 13 Razor - 1918 Gillette Old Style Blade - (3) Soap - Stirling Glastonbury Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic Post - Alum A very busy two days over the weekend. Lots of hours making money, not so many sitting in front of the computer. I skipped last night's shave just to have a bit of extra down time. That, of course, set up a two day growth for the final run with the 1918 for now. It's a Sunday so it's a Stirling mutton tallow soap. I went back to the Glastonbury. This one is growing on me every time I use it. Same for my wife. She mentioned she likes it a lot. That's a good thing. And I definitely needed the slickness and cushion to deal with two days and a very aggressive razor and a Sharp Sharp Star. Happy to say that three passes were quite comfortable, I'm totally smooth and no blood or irritation appeared. Quite nice and a great way to roll into tomorrow which is a day filled with meetings. Most of which I won't necessarily enjoy. I'm still battling just a bit of congestion from the Bronchitis and I have an upper endoscopy coming up Wednesday. Yeah, what a fun week ahead. Hope yours has lots more fun stuff and less meetings and eating medical grade equipment! Have a great Monday!
Sunday Travel SOTN An overnight visit with the family at my grandparent's house. I had a quick and efficient Ikon Deluxe OC shave tonight with the 4th shave on an Astra Green. A very comfy shave thanks to slick lather - go go 1/2 Palmolive shave stick. Happy shaves all! Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Monday 14th October Proraso Sensitive Pre Shave MWF Shaving Soap Vulfix 'The Strand' Badger Brush Kai Captain with a Proline P Alum MWF Moisturiser Grey Flannel EDT 2 Passes for a lovely close shave and a very good start to the working week
Mmmmenthol! Razor: Merkur 500 Blade: Treat Platinum Brush: Omega 10019 Soap: Proraso Modern-Monday for me today with all non vintage stuff. The brush suits the soap well and no blooming or drowning required (my apologies to all the soap-worriers on the forum). A lovely slick lather with a nice refreshing menthol "zing". Credit to Proraso for the small tub. Its a nice size to have for the casual user and the dish is great to use. Looks good as well. The razor was set to 1.5. The settings are hard to read and i may enamel the numbers in the future. (The razors weak spot tbh). A heavy razor with a mid-centric balance point, its a good razor although i think Gillette did the adjustable better. A nice DFS with no cuts and litgle irritation. Those Treat blades are sharp!!! Shave-on people
