    Question for the 30DC gents...

Shopping/researching tobacco aromas....my oldest daughter's birthday is coming up. She really likes Stirling Haverford, describes it as a dark sweet vanilla (thanks @PLAla for donating to the traveling box!). I'll place an order with Stirling for her...they have all the options, soap, shampoo, EdT, etc.

Another goal....research tobacco aromas in general. I had mostly written off the tobacco fragrance (not the biggest fan of Tabac, it's just 'ok'). But, Haverford has kicked the door wide open again.

Any 30DCr's have PAA's Cavendish SS or AS/EDP? Or maybe suggestions of other artisan versions of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille?

Very nice setup of gear Charlie. Great image also. Well wishes for your wife's tests!

Straight razor as a coffee buddy. Completely relate to that. Great shave!

Cavendish and WK Merchant of Tobacco have similar scent profiles to Haverford in my opinion. I don't have A&E Tabac de Vanille but it may be another to consider.

My favorite tobacco scent is Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf. But Jeeves is no longer in production unfortunately.

I’m with you Blair in exploring more tobacco scents. I need a replacement for the Jeeves when it runs out soon. Haverford was a little sweet for me.

My Dad got fed up and switched to electrics . I missed watching him lather up but after watching him shave , he always made sure to splash some AS on me and tell me i smelled like a man. I was facinated with shaving way back then .

A brush , soap and a razor . What more does a man need for a nice close shave ? Can still feel and smell the soap so I skipped the AS.
Tomorrow will be the WSP Formula T Blackbeard as I'm getting the urge to plunder and pillage just thinking about it. Ahoy mateys!

I can still smell the Williams lectric preshave lotion . The AS was usually Aqua Velva or Old Spice .

Henri Et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars may be one to try. Much closer to the Jeeves scent profile than Haverford in my opinion.

Another to consider would be Hemingway Acoutrements. Sweeter than HeV but not as sweet as Haverford to my nose.
