Cavendish is very nice. If you are looking at PAA, you might also look at Harvest Moon and Oubliette.
I’m not a fan of Tabac’s scent either. Although not a dupe of Tobacco Vanille as per the question, Chatillon Lux’s Unconditional Surrender is a fantastic Tobacco scent. Ditto on what Perry said of the Jeeves, fwiw.
Hoping the tests come back with good results, Charlie. A very nice looking combo, for sure. Love that brush again, Patrick! I like G & T’s scent more than Blackbeard, fwiw.
I think electric razors were the new high tech way to shave. Both my father and grandfather used electric razors and acted like wet shaving was for poor people. In fact even today my father acts like I'm just silly. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
my dad as well when we we last spoke of it.he says .what are you using that old crap for..but i imagine shaving wasn't a highlight for past generations, just a necessity with some options..
OCtober Fat & OC's Stirling Menth preshave soap Mitchell's Wool Fat soap B-400 by @twhite, WD HMB Suribachi bowl, cool water Univinlions kami-shavette Feather Artist Club Pro blade Gillette NEW Long Comb Bolzano Superinox blade EAD Hot Spice EDT Splashed some tap water on my face, rubbed the bar of PSS around, hand lathered for a couple moments. I might try a brush with the Stirling product next. I did feel a nice menthol cooling this time since I used enough. No soak for the Whipped Dog High Mountain knot. Just a dribble and light shake and to the MWF to load. That wasn't enough water so a couple drops on top of the puck, a couple times. Still took longer than I'd prefer to generate lather and it was not as creamy and wet as I get with a boar or synth. For me The Fat is going to be other than horse or badger knots. Fresh Japanese blade in the Chinese dupe of the Japanese style blade holder. Took a WTG pass, nicked the center of my chin, and moved on to open comb DE to finish. Next two passes were uneventful netting a comfortable DFS. Alum sung a little on my lower neck like it does when I use too much pressure. The Dollar Store knock off of Spice Bomb has plenty of alcohol for use as an AS and a nice spray pump cap. Don't rush out and pay $10-$14 at Amazon or the bay. This is dollar store stuff, but is does smell very much like 2018 Jeeves Blood on Steel. Good Shaves Y'all!
Sounds great! Hot browns look very appetizing me, compared to mämmi. But mämmi isn't really that bad either, just looks like it was eaten once before. It could (well, i don't know, you tell me) be a culture shock to some, that so much reindeer is eaten over here. Actually if you go to lapland, you will see them on them on the roads too. Now i need some coffee..
Good morning everyone! Used the hussy Schick H1 with a B-20 blade, very mild razor even with the improved blade. I remember now why I gave it to my wife. 3 passes and a clean face, 2 passes on the head, some clean up. The blade seemed to dull a bit, but no pulling or tugging so I went on. This razor is a great head shaving, not as close as I like, but no issues. If you like a mild sorta razor, pick one up, then shave away. Nice and clean ready for the day. Thanks to Fuzzy @wchnu for reminding me I have this single bladed thingy. All Enjoy tp
