Today I got 50 Kai blades in the mail. I prefer Kai over Feather blades when it comes to the top 2 sharpest blades out there. Kais are more forgiving than Feathers but still are super effective at slicing through my thick, coarse stubble.

The seller took all the photos from angles that hid the missing endcaps. Thankfully I know how to fix that, but now I am looking for another donor razor for my redtip project. The doors and endcaps need plating, but the rest of the razor is on pretty good shape.

Well, the hard drive on my laptop crashed yesterday and all my pictures went POOF. All my everything did. Oh well, I picked up a what I believe is a 1930 NEW type razor. The Berkshire on Mr. Razor minus the box is the closest I've found to it so far. It's got a couple of cracks in the normal spots on the handle but I can tighten it down any way. Open comb. Very nice gold plate. I ran it threw the sonic cleaner and it came out pretty nice. I'll get a pic as soon as I get the new machine fingered out.
