Very nice Patrick. Love the setup and the added theme addition. Immediately thinking of PoTC and Captain Jack Sparrow! Stirling Bay Rum greatness Terry. Love that brush and razor! Lovely amber glow to that image Jim. Great combination and shave! Are you kidding? Asking permission to post images of a 'new' Gillette? Shaving blasphemy! We always need images of new gear.
Thanks Jim...you are right....a new normal. Things are different but life is that way. I can look back and say that I was blessed to have the parents that I had.
I've made the announcement that I am staying with my mountain avatar. This just in.....With the help of a "scrounger", I may be able to set up a new avatar with the actual mountain I climbed. I've been informed that my avatar shows a mountain and lake in Glacier National Park. That wasn't the one(although it's a lovely shot).
Excellent shave this morning, again with the Stoylin Ramblin Man. I know I keep saying this, but I could have stopped with just the first pass, but there's so much soap left on the brush I give it the second. I'm beginning a pattern that I believe @wristwatchb wrote about-to go north to south AND south to north more often than what used to be one direction only for the face and neck. The chin and jaw can be toyed with going numerous directions,. I still do the "chipping" method at the jawline, as one would chip ice off a car. No cuts, no nix. Did well.
You talkinabout mine, Danny? Every time I look at it, I get the eerie feeling I know that mountain. I scaled one in Rocky Mtn. National Park that looks quite similar. I wish I could solve my curiosity on this.
Joe, instead of "nix", I thought of you and said, should I write "Knicks"? but held back because I'm a nice man.
Guys, haven't been able to check in much at all this week. Alice is still down with the flu. We kept Wilson out of school yesterday with a bad cough but he's doing better today. I'll take him in a little while. I took yesterday and today off from work to help out. I'll be back at some point. I know you'll leave the light on.
