Good Saturday morning!
There's frost on the pumpkin, it's officially cooled off in my part of the woods.
Loaded one of the razors I took home and cleaned up couple days ago with a Feather Blade. I brought out some bay rum I haven't used in a while, then went to work. This razor, even with a new Feather Blade is milder than most. I went 3 passes to get where I'm normally at with 2. My neck didn't bleed, nor is it red or burnt. But because I went 4 passed there, it is a little itchy. Changed the blade to shave the hat holder. About the same as below, only did 2 passes there. So if you can get by with a less culpable razor, you're gonna love this little tool. Well ballanced, looks great, has a handel that is easy to grip. Can't say anything bad about this thing, other than it is just not able to tackle my wiskers. That's just my luck.
The Grand Bay Rum AS is nice, good sent, good feel. It doesn't have a spout or anything to help meter the amount, so it pours out quickly. I used a lot of this stuff, to much???
Maybe, maybe not.
Nice!

The razor....It is worth the 4 bucks I paid for it to say the least. Guess it's a starter razor for someone who has never had the joy of a good home shave.
Thanks to Gary
@brit that spotted it and noted the year, type and how it was marketed right off the bat.
It's a 1958 D3 TV special, as far as I can tell with the web as a guide. I didn't doubt you Gary, but your post did get me off my hind end to look it up, thanks!
All in all a good shave.
Well it's daylight now, the coffee cup is almost empty, time to go.
Everyone
Enjoy
