Superb Sunday I haven't used River Rouge in a while, and it did not disappoint. Close, comfortable shave with a great scent. The splash is excellent as well. Sunday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Rapira day 7 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Prep ASB Osage Rub AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP Either my technique is the best or it was a miracle because the Rapira blade really crapped out on the second pass, yet I still managed to get a great BBS shave. This Frozen Tundra is Stirling’s second coldest soap after the Glacials. I would rate it around an 8/10 on my personal menthol scale so it’s pretty damned strong. Its scent is very lekker - it’s a blend of peppermint, wintergreen, with earthy notes and its lather is so rich as well as SLICK so you get terrific blade glide and such a perfect soothing sensation in addition to the freeze. The Prep, together with the Rubby Dubby Doo prolonged that sensation beautifully. No complaints whatsoever about this shave - despite the blade being kaput it was fabulous! Have a nice Sunday! And an update.....the aftershave is OK...good news is that I avoided the Niagra Falls effect this time. I suppose more good news is that it feels good on my face and neck. The Unfortunate news-no noticeable scent. I thought there might be from sniffing the contents, but very little showed up. Aaaah, I'll hang on to it...not much in there anyway.

It was listed on IB's deal of the day and as I was ordering some other items I threw it in the cart. Lathers up easily. Nice cushion and glide. Not sure the scent would please everyone. Very and I mean very citrusy. Almost Juicey Fruit chewing gum sweet to my nose. Not offensive but it's there. Here's the blurb from IB's site.
