Thanks Douglas. The soap was new to me but everything worked together very nicely for a great result!

Razor: Non-Diamond Gillette Tech Aluminium. Blade: Feather Soap: Boots Cool Cologne *waves at @wchnu * Brush: No.26 Well, when my face isn't on fire from (stress?) my job is on fire. Absolute manic at the moment so not much time really to shoot the breeze. Boots cream for fuzzy's interest and because its menthol (mental) -Monday . I picked the feather because of 3 days growth. I must have a tough beard because it was a bit of a rough shave even with it. 3-ish passes for a SAS. The cream is good, lovely and slick and isn't one for fluffing up which will also be fuzzy-positive. A cool menthol rather than face burning. The razor is a beaut as well, it is a lovely little Brass/Aluminium handled and base plate tech. No diamond around the gillette and the font is a bit odd as well. Suspicions it is a Sportsman, but @mr-razor doesn't give a head shot or weight on his, so one can't be sure. Either way, it had no issue dealing with my 3 days of fuzz. Shave-on.
Monday OCtober 21 Going with some US made razors this week. First up is my 1934 Aristocrat. While this razor shaves well, it's not quite as good as my British Aristocrat #15. Bowl/Scuttle - GP12 Soap - MWF (it's Monday) Brush - Rubberset 400-3 Blade - Gillette Platinum (5) Razor - Gillette Aristocrat 1934 (US) Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods Shave rating 5 of 5 This Aristocrat is a mild razor and not very efficient. I received a good shave in 2 passes. I didn't shave over the weekend so I had 3 days beard growth. The first pass WTG was smooth with no blade feel, and not very efficient and it left me with some stragglers, <DFS. The second pass, XTG and again was a very smooth pass with absolutely no blade feel and and finished BBS. The MWF lather was very good on both passes. I got a 2 pass, nick and weeper free shave. The alum was silent, even on my neck area which is unusual. I finished off with the Clubman Whiskey Woods, a scent I really like. Overall, a really good shave. Going with some US made OC razors this week. Happy OCtober and great shaves everyone. - Ken
Cold Water Rinse C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream Jayaruh #340 Badger C.V. Heljestrand Heljestrand wedge CWR Osage Rub My prep was just a cold water rinse. The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the C.V. Heljestrand razor with a Heljestrand wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

New week and a new razor to try! I really haven’t been excited for a new razor in quite a bit but the Supply V2 really caught my eye and as I have no other Schick type SE I figured why not?! So today I loaded a new Schick blade into this polished beauty and gave it a go. Today’s soap Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars. So good a scent and an amazing performing soap. Really enjoyed using this today and honestly really liking the tobacco and leather scents lately. So I got through a very easy two pass shave with the “classic” or two dot plate. Close and comfortable with zero nicks or irritation. The angle took a little to get used to but no issues. I have the mild (one) and aggressive (three dot) plate which I will try next. I figure this week will be dedicated to the Supply V2! Rating: 5 / 5 Razor: Supply The Single Edge V2 Blade: Schick Injector Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L Lather: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars Aftershave: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars Additional Care: B.I.G. Co. Alum Block Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza
Monday’s Shave Razor: 1914 Aristocrat Blade: Feather Hi Stainless Brush: ER 2500 Soap: Derby AS: THE VEG! Tonight was my first go with my new to me razor. It performed as expected for the old type. Smooth and mildish feeling. It is a bit deceptive as it gave a no effort DFS 3 pass no touch up. I find I much prefer really sharp blades on the old Gillette’s. The Derby is a surprisingly nice and slick soap. It will stay in my rotation. Especially as I am mostly a stick soap guy as of late. What can you say about THE VEG. If you are chosen it ROCKS.
