  1. Nice haul, Danny!
I think I would be put out by the mismatched anodizing too.

  2. Great lineup, Mark! I am waiting for them to get the boar knots for that exact brush. Your brush is a beauty!

  4. Thanks Jim, It does bother me and I may contact ATT about it and see if it is suppose to be like that. I am sure that the pieces are anodized at separate times but the finish should be closer than that for this high end of a razor.

  7. DSC_0551.JPG My new very cheap, unused Tech is looking a bit rough even after some scrubbing. I probably should try to polish it a bit, but the plating doesn't look too good on the top cap (is it zamak?). It'll probably shave just fine though, i might have to buy an older one if i like it.

  8. I am rooting for you, Patrick! Just take your time and use light pressure. I would suggest to just do the cheeks WTG and finish with your normal razor. Do a little more on each subsequent straight shaves until you are comfortable doing the entire shave with a straight. I would say that it would take a few weeks, but it is not going to be a perfect shave for awhile. If you get an SAS, then you are doing well. Don't get discouraged, just keep at it and you will be an All-Star on the TSD straight razor team.

  17. It's great when mid-20's ladies like Clubman. Now they know what kind of man to look for all their lives(well, until they find their husbands of course)-the sophisticated, mature type.

Thank you Clint! Real Shulton from an estate sale. The kids are feeling quite well since it's too late to go to school today. My mom called that "Three O'clock Flu".
Thank you Patrick! Hope yours isn't under a truck in the wind and rain!
    Thanks Dan!

  20. May I jump in here and say the woman who took the "smell test" on me at the supermarket(when I had Clubman on) wasn't the "Old Folks Home" type?
