I’m playing around a little with my photos to add a little color variety! Friday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 5 RVT Yuka Lyptik SS Prep ASB Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash My second time using Mo’s Yuka Lyptik soap and I’m loving it more and more. Does this stuff ever lather like a son of a gun, I love the scent, and this time it took even less time for the menthol sensation to kick in - did it ever feel strong. The lather has such good slickness so the blade glide is fantastic. The Prep has become my favorite balm and the Aqua Velva went on with its own special icy cold punch. Except for a very tiny weeper on my chin this was a perfect BBS shave! Have a great weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GOLDEN! Razor: G.Contour Blade: Contour NOS (#4) Soap: De Vergulde Hand Brush: Vulfix #26 I think this is as workman-like a shave as i can cobble together. The star here though is the soap. I have nothing quite like it. It is even more unobtrusive and no-frills the MWF. No really scent to speak of, but performance is very good (on par with Palmolive, Arko, etc) and price is good @$3.00 for the puck which has the added bonus of a very usable bowl! An ok shave though today. The G.Contour is beyound its best and 3 passes got me DFS-. I suspect it could maintain this though for quite a while, i dunno, it isn't a blade i use much these days. I seem to remember similar shaves back in my pre-DE days. A great few shaves on a cart followed by a prolonged period of meh which then degeneratates into urgh. If only this blade shaved like a DE, it would be fantastic. NO AS today. my skin is in tatters at the moment (Probably stress tbh). Shave on!
Had to check, i still have an unopened bag of them. I'll scrape my face to bits with one on sunday. I actually had decent shaves with them. I like the Bics way better than any cart i've ever used.

This morning, I switched from yesterday's Gillette Foamy Menthol* to Barbasol. Stayed with the Mennen Skin-Bracer. Nice shave. I may have overdone the Skin-Bracer, but....I think I'll be OK . Y'know, it's my opinion that an overdose of Skin Bracer comes out smelling similar to Clubman(Original). No wonder I've seen from reviewers that it's a "barbershop-type" aftershave. *-See my Friday Files for this week(in "Pix, Discussions").
