What exactly am I looking at here? It "looks" like a Japanese woodworking chisel, but since this is a shaving forum, it's probably something shaving. ??

I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to blades and soaps, but started getting back in to injectors and that ended that.
I was a minimalist for my first 30 plus years of shaving. I've gone to the other extreme, way extreme.
And probably not a cheap one of either if Japanese straight razors are as dear as good Japanese woodworking tools are! Learned something new here today!

With about a quarter inch of fluid left in my current bottle of *inhale* Derby City Chop Shop Small Batch Shave Tonic Winter Reserve, it was time to order my yearly supply. 2 bottles on the way. Im not sure if there are any other fans of this brew on the forum, but if so, this is a seasonal product. And to save you time googling, it's a basic Bay Rum, made with bourbon, rather than perfumer's alcohol. It's not clove heavy like some other bay rums. Looks better than the last bottle design, which gave off distinct "vinaigrette oil" vibes. Edit: I wonder if the new design keeps the drips off the label? The label on the old design looks decidedly vintage by the time the bottle is almost empty.
The bottle I received last year looks just like the one pictured here. It was shipped with an eyedropper. I use the eyedropper to keep from making a mess of the bottle and control the amount used.
