Thank you, Gentlemen. I’m not going to lie, it is nice that the kids are old enough that we can leave them for a few hours at night.
I married into a farming family. Matched fancy scents isn't really something they understand. However, smelling like a tractor and leather gloves is perfectly normal. I bet Midnight Stag would pair well with brake cleaner or WD40.
Nice shave. Enjoy your evening. Dinner and a movie, it's hard to remember what that's like. Its witches' night out which means I am in charge of THE boy and our 7 year old daughter.
OCtober MWF~~Simpson~~Wade & Butcher~~Small Batch Shave Tonic Early shave, late post. This razor was a gift from @Paul76 and was actually the first straight that ever touched my face. The original scales belonged to a guy named Prichard (so engraved) and were broken at the hinge. I sent the razor off to Glen and this is the result: very nice celluloid scales. I am pleased with the new look. The razor has a definite new-feeling edge. I thought it was slightly rough and for tomorrow, I am going to give it a good stropping. Report to follow. Once again, I chose the new Simpson and once again it was a pleasure to use. ZERO hair loss for the second shave and excellent lather from the still hanging around MWF. BTW, I missed yesterday's shave having to be at work at 5:30am. So with 48 hours growth, the W&B mos def© sliced through and removed 100%. Me want more buttery feel... Called an AS audible as Dr. Mrs. Primo and I headed out of town to visit a friend, who is dealing with rectal cancer. He is doing well, and we are confident of his 100% recovery. Post shave was Aramis Tobacco Reserve. SWMBOSOA©
Thanks Clint, I have tried a Karve solid bar before in the Rockwell. First time with the OC plate and it worked great. Have a great weekend.
Thank Jason, the Rockwell will handle the Karve plates with no problem. I just have to add a nylon washer due to the Karve plate being thinner. The stank was stank in a bad way. Take care.
