It is a beautiful custom razor, Keith!

 

Good morning, gents!
Today i decided to revisit the Bic 1 Sensitive disposables i used to use. And now i can appreciate DE:s even more than i did before. It was quite hard to get a close shave as the razor was so mild, the blade didn't feel that sharp either, so i had to use a bit of pressure. I even got a small nick because of that. But i decided to keep going, quite a bit of buffing later i ended up with a decently close shave. I can get closer with a DE though. I didn't get any irritation, which was probably the best thing about the shave. Binned the razor right after i was done.

I have to say that I commend you for getting a good shave with that razor, Daniel. Those razors are useless to shave my beard and need aggressive razors to do the job.

 

Thanks, but i do have to say that i have a light beard. And a fairly high tolerance for pain.

Proraso SC/AS Red
Supply Company Single Edge v2.0

3 Pass DFS. Travel shave this morning. New setup going forward for awhile with weekend work shaves. Proraso predictability and one of my favorite sandalwood stanks. The Single Edge is a great travel setup, solidly built, stows easy without worry about it getting it damaged. Little thought to its angle and pressure now, just mows it down. Clean shaven and ready for the day.

Caught up on the thread a bit last night. Lots of great shaves and images. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

 

Doesn't (probably) hurt to try!
I've been a bit curious about the Dorco Pace 7, just because that many blades sounds just absolutely ridiculous to me. But i'd rather spend that money on DE blades or something that i would really use more than once.

 

Nice one! Canned Proraso is decent stuff.

@jluc @PLAla also. You’s guys are master enablers...I received a coupon from Supply Co...and first time ever I’ve bought a duplicate razor in another color. Jet Black soon. I wanted it also, but flipped a coin cause I couldn’t decide. First purchase, mirror won.

Very nice, Bill! The Supply injectors are vastly different than the Schicks. Much heavier and a different angle, in my opinion.
