Yesterday's morning shave in cold water. The Feather blade on it's sixth use was sharper then the Laser Ultra brand new. Picked out my AS the night before, before I knew that the hot water heater went out. Needless to say I was feeling the menthol long after my shave. Superb lather from the Tabac, but I'm ready to move on to some other soaps. Have a great day my friends!

I'm still shaving with my OCtober focus gear...although I did a hurried shower shave this morning with a four-bladed thingy. Does anyone have a loofah recommendation?

I'm almost finished with my container of T&H Sandalwood cream. Not sure what I'll move onto next. I'm also powering through a bottle of Floid Vigoroso (good stuff, but I probably won't buy it in a gallon jug next time...sorta hard to handle and I'm always afraid I'll drop it.) I'm also working through a bottle of cologne that I've had for too long and toying with the idea of replacing it with a bottle Creed Aventus. I found the best prices on a place across the pond.

I had ice cream today.

My wrist is much better, but still a little sore at times. High fives with kindergarteners are tolerable, but manly, testosterone-fueled, vice grip hand shakes still provide a small jolt.

I guess that's about it for now. Hope all is well! Things are becoming a little more routine again, and I'm starting to poke my head back in every so often.

If you keep buying aftershave by the gallon maybe you should consider steel toe slippers.

'Galaxy Blue' 28mm handle w/synthetic
New Azuma 'Yasuki Steel' Kamisori

All Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements products today. The generic ('Bay purchase) Galaxy Blue handle w/synthetic badger (transplanted from the 2019 LE 30DC handle) made a great slick lather using PAA's CK6 formula. This synthetic knot is the only one in my den, and it's a winner. Almost too soft, but not....has a great face feel. Several other synthetics have been PIF'd or passed on. PAA's John Frum aroma is a great one, slightly musky, slightly powdery, with a little pepper to my nose....it lasts 12+ hours for my skin chemistry. Felt like a kamisori today, this New Azumi 'Yasuki Steel' is a brother of the one @RyX is contemplating from the TSD Round 3 traveling box. This kamisori is easily maneuvered, quite sharp...it mows down everything in its path. Unique handle wrapping on this one, appears to be a layered cotton thread, covered in clear nail polish, the ends with reddish orange. Very easy to hold & control w/wet hands. Finished up with the matching PAA John Frum aftershave/cologne.

So with the mirror finish Supply Co V2 arrived yesterday, the Wolfman OC got kicked to the curb. I will finish out the month using this razor. The finish on the razor is top notch and is truly polished to a mirror like shine. I expected the razor to be more slippery than the matt finishes when wet. Perhaps it is but I really can't tell that much difference. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. SE razors seem to handle my lower right neck with less effort. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

I said the other day I was going to use my taller brushes for the MWF. What did I choose
Another Chubby.
Clang, ding, bang, bop, tink, Ugh.
The ceramic MWF container is ever-so-slightly wider at the bottom, causing this knocking.
Nevertheless, the synthetic Simpson was simply saturated with sumptuous suds.
Wet and wild we wetted our face and wistfully applied the luscious lather.
The bottomless bowl belies the bounty of this soap. I could probably get though most of
November with the remaining product.
Fourth and final shave with the Feather Super. I experienced a bit of dragging, leading to some unwanted
epidermal removal.
I forged ahead and despite the curious red marks on my chin 'n cheeks, finished with a very close shave.
Busted out the cracked alum and scraped it across my face. Mos def© could feel the burn.
After a minute or two, I washed it off with some Thayer's. Binned the blade.
Cleaned the Feather; brush 'n bowl then reached for the Ogallala juice.
Aaaaahhhhh. Good juice.

Yesterday I used a razor that could shave the toughest hair, even a grizzy bear, as I explained. There are no grizz in my part of the woods, I'm happy to say. Seeing as there ain't no big bear that needs shavin, I loaded a new blade and took another turn with it. Being quite prepared, I got a 2 pass head n face shave I like, no issues.

Another terrific Fat shave. Fantastic lather and easy whisker reduction by the Personna. Tried out the WSP Tobacco scent in an attempt to find a replacement for the Jeeves splash. This one is very close in scent. It doesn't seem as moisturizing as the Jeeves, but I can't complain since the scents are so close. Nice shave all around.

Busy and long day today. Two field trips over to a local church where we will rehearse during the school day followed by a concert there tonight. Our school auditorium stage is occupied by set pieces for the musical that opens in three weeks. So we vacate campus and perform in an alternate location. We did the same thing last year and it worked out well.

Well I'm gonna cheat a little, no I'm gonna cheat alot!
Things are going to be real busy in the morning, so I'll post A "gonna happen" shave.
A little Wool on Wednesday and the Lucky Tiger because it's nice. The same razor with a new blade, I got 372 blades after this one, so I'm still good to go. Besides, a razor that shaves this close deserves a nice new blade, every time!
The brush is one you might kinda recognize, but no. I had a horse hair brush that is great but the handle split and cracked. The handel you see here had a very old, small, stiff, worn out knot. Not knowing quite what I'm doing (no surprise) I broke the handle of the horse hair brush, removed the knot, cleaned it up then epoxied it into this one after cleaning out the old knot. We'll give it a try in the Fat come shave time.

Anyway.....
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
