Were it Mass General, I'd have tried to set up a visit if it could work. . But it's a tough one to get to. At least she would have great views of the...well...CHARLES River from her room.

I just got a pop-up* titled Best Razors For(4) Seniors. I think the idea here is to let us(yes, at 62, I'm a senior), see how simpler they might be to operate. That's my manta-keep it simple. I think some on the list are at CVS here. My next trip there, I'll give a close look to the Gillette Mach3.

    That's a nice setup Jim!

The 60d and D3200 are still very capable. Both a few generations old, but both also quite pixel dense enough for 99.9% of photography work.

I used the 60D bodies for quite awhile....the mirrors fell off the mounts on 2 of 'em we shot them so much. Currently use the Canon 7D Mark II body. The 1.6x factor (vs. full frame) helps with motorsport photography, and the sensor is much the same as the Canon full frame equivalent (of that generation). This is where it gets really techy, really fast. Currently I'm working through what I'll use for 2020 going forward. Problem for me is that I have to buy at least 2, if not 3 bodies at a time, as it's me and an assistant, and the events I go to I have to have a backup. That gets spendy..... And, Canon's 2020 mid tier release, the 90D, is not really a big step up over what we're using (other than more pixel density, wifi/bluetooth and some other video things that don't matter to us). Lenses are a different story.....highly embedded in Canon's L-Series. The bike image, 400mm F2.8 II IS, mounted on the 7D Mark II.

Good info Perry. Thanks for sharing. Only recently got a bar of the Stirling menthol PSS so I have a point of comparison. I have found that rubbing the bar on water splashed whiskers, then face lathering with a brush works very well.

Sounds great! I've used the 1.6x factor to my advantage as well (nature photography and macros, mostly). Yeah that gets very expensive for sure, backups are a must.
The L-Series lenses are great, even though i've never used one.

I'm on a tight budget, so i just use the old Nikon lenses, i try to get the most bang for the buck. I have a few Tamron Adaptall lenses too. No AF or even metering with the D3200, but i can manage without them usually. I try to edit my photos as little as possible, except the b&w conversions and such.
I do have several different film cameras too, ranging from my FM2 to the Ansco B2 Cadet.
