I think that is my favorite scale option for the Bismarck 2... very classy. Old Bengall for me tonight... very enjoyable. Enjoy your shave. Tom
I have never had a bad shave from a properly honed Bengal .Thanks for the comment on the Bismarck 2 scales .I was very lucky buying it last year .It was NOS when they used the higher end scales .

11/16 Theo Kochs Marcella, 200k diamond edge, SAS (same as shavette). This one was sourced from J.R. Rowe/California and was near mint condition when found. It was initially honed by Mr. Rowe's hone person. I redid the hone using films 30-.3 micron. http://strazors.com/index.php?id=686&doc=marcella_theo_a_kochs_co_chicago_made_in_germany_
CVH MK32 13/16, cream was ABC lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a dab of ABC balm topped off a BDBS shave.

5/8 F.W.Engels Wedge Had a great shave with this Engels blade .Really liked the weight of the blade .Near BBS in two passes .
One of my best razors. It was the first film, stones, diamond edge I attempted, at it worked beautifully. That's my standard hone method now. SAS result.
Here’s a ‘bookend’ for @Briscoe also a black 14 Sub Cero. Soap was a sample of 3P that was given to me, the brush a big ol’ Simpsons 59, and after a little Harris Pink (essentially unscented), a splash of Cella Colonia Classica finished up a perfect BDBS shave. The 3P impressed me, I’ve had the sample for some time and unlike Cella, it did not turn brown/rancid at room temperature, and it performed as well or better, plus the post shave is quite good. A very good option for an inexpensive Italian croap I think.
