the ones in my shower are on a wire basket/tray hanging on the wall, the ones by my sinks are on wooden soap decks (I have one from Chagrin Valley and one from Highland Springs but they are all basically the same)

Certainly a great name for the product!! You have me wondering, too.

I just got an email that said "Intrepid Man was delayed indefinitely because the scent didn't come through in different product base" and that they were throwing away a lot of soap because it didn't meet company standards. Maybe we'll get an official update here.

Halloween day basically REQUIRED a shave with Pumpkin Spice and matching splash. I used my Green Ray (and my appreciation continues to grow) and a Merkur 1904 OC. I didn’t need to dress up as anything............. I felt awesome after that shave! I was careful with my use of the AS, so it didn’t choke out anyone around me, while lasting all day.

I skipped yesterday, but then today I was ready again and realized it was the perfect time to break out the Haverford. So after a haircut and shower, I used the same hardware as the previous shave, and am now basking in the most incredible fall scent imaginable. If I was retired and single (or at least one of those) I would probably make Haverford a semi-daily fall/winter scent..........maybe even my signature. I can’t give up the completely different Clubman though so probably just in a very short rotation. Anyway, I smell awesome and so does my home, so I had to share.

I got my samples today and they all smell good. I didn't shave tonight but put a little Texas On Fire A/S on before I went to visit with my mother. She asked if I was burning trash or a brush pile. LOL. After sitting with her for about an hour, she started to like the smell saying she could smell cinnamon and leather. I dig it but that first few minutes its kinda rough. Reminds me of sitting around a bond fire passing around a bottle of Fireball. My bathroom smells like Black Cherry as in my order, I was gifted a sample of Black Cherry bath soap. I'll be using Executive Man tomorrow for my shave. It smells amazing. Ozark Mountain is on standby for Wednesdays shave. I think I'll be ordering full sizes of these along with the A/S's plus more samples. I could be hooked.

Thanks for that. I'm still on the fence about TOF, but the cinnamon/leather part sounds better than burning trash :). I have Baker St. up for use this week(beginning Tuesday, for a couple days. I was PIFed that myself(gifted).

As part of my shave description for today, I wrote that I witnessed some "chunks" in the Baker Street soap. I know Doc Ezlovan doesn't use clay(Bentonite or Kaeolin), so it puzzled me to see them. Perhaps they are the result of strong loading? I don't know. I don't recall seeing any "chunks" in my other Stoylin soaps. That aside, it was a real good shave.

I just moved my Spice "team" up to the front of the bus/den. Soap, A.S., AND....a small bottle of Talcum Powder from Shulton Old Spice(came as a P.I.F.).
