thank you Joe..to be honest they all shave quite similarly so i like the different styles they made..helps with the boredom factor..and themselves they deserve the praise.they were the mainstay for many generations of clean shaven faces....

No Plan November Wickham Russian Leather SS Omega Hi-Brush synthetic Suribachi bowl & cool water New Azuma Yasuki Steel kami Drygultch Leather #43 strop Univinlions kami-shavette Feather AC Professional blade Schick Type G & a Chick blade RazoRock alum, Pinaud styptic Wholly Kaw Project Leather AS Tried out a synthetic knot from The Traveling Box before I ship it off. I've heard less than complementary reviews on this brush. I found it looks denser than it feels, but it does lather well. The handle seems to be of quite solid plastic, yet it's split. Not a problem because I have a Graydog handle that needs a knot. This one? Still debating and awaiting Andrew's review on the Chinese SHD knots he's ordered. So the Guest brush worked well with the 1912 soap making a decent lather in quick order. No problems getting enough soap and the scent is deep, leathery and green earthy notes. Took the untried kamisori to the strop for a couple passes since that's what Dark Siders do. Set down on my right cheek carefully, and the blade stuck to my face. Lather may not have been wet enough? For sure the handle needs a fat wrap since it doesn't index well being so slim and pretty much square. Tried a pass on my left cheek - tuggy. Abort. Brought out the kami-shavette since I'd planned the shave while the house was quiet and I had the time. Great WTG Retry. Until I got to my left lower neck. Bad set down poked and started the dripping. Finished the WTG pass & set the shavette down next to the kamisori. Old reliable Schick took over and finished the shave. Rinsed, applied styptic to the dribbling neck wound, alum elsewhere. As I cleaned up the gear and staged for my photo I applied AS, then realized I hadn't rinsed off the alum like I usually do. Almost time for after school pick duties, but I'll make time to rinse again, reapply AS, and styptic if needed. No where to go but up from here. Good Shaves Y'all
