Ebarbershop Type O clone, personna blade, shave 8


First comparative razor up. This razor is definitely more aggressive than a Type L but less efficient. Razor doesn't give a BBS shave either. As far as the Type L clone goes, it is more aggressive than both and a better shaver than the Type O clone. The best shaver so far is the Schick Type L. Tomorrow to compare is the Type N injector.

Those little wedge blades are tough to hone. It sounds like you’ve tackled them well.

Now testing the longevity of this quite new to me Blade. Very comfortable Shave with no drag, an excellent close all round finish. The Chubby 1 is excellent for teasing a good lather from small soap containers like that the Haslinger and others are stored in.

Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (8)
Soap: Williams Mug
Brush: Razorock Noir 400
Pre-shave:Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + clear Aloe vera gel beard area.
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave: Razorock Blue barber with witch hazel + Nivea balm
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + alum indicated minor irritation+ 1 blemish weeper=

Looks like the one I was bidding on recently, I ended up with a Enders speed black one with a blade in it. I have the B-20 blades and looking forward to using them with my Enders in transit.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30RS Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the TNNSER 3D Black/Green razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Schick Type N1, Personna blade, shave 9


Well this razor is most like the Type L clone with one major difference, it is more efficient while the Type L clone is more aggressive but they have about the same blade feel and give the about the same overall shave with this blade. I think the Type L clone aggressiveness is due to the spring design being a dud since it doesn't seem to hold a blade secure and moves very easily with or without a blade loaded. The aggressiveness could be due to blade chatter with that razor. Last 2 razors to compare are 2 different Type L razors next.
