***EDIT - Excellent 2-pass + gentle clean up shave. Another top notch BBS shave. I have to say that Dr. Jon's is my 2nd favorite shaving soap. I get fantastic shaves from it. And apparently Dr. Jon's has a new formula that I haven't tried yet. I hope it didn't get messed up because the version I use with this set is a tremendous shaving soap. Absolutely top-notch level stuff.

A leather scented shave soap I bet goes great with the Clubman Special Reserve. The genius of the Clubman Special Reserve scent, IMO, is the sheer number of shaving soap scents that can be paired successfully with it.

Thanks Mark. I have been doing the shave of the week to spend more time with each product. I enjoy it a bit more living with each for a week getting a better sense and feel for the depth of each offering. It does mean putting off the use of some things for awhile, but I enjoy what I use more in away. This week is Clown Fruit. When I first picked up Clown Fruit, I was not sure of it and thought it odd, but over time it really grew on me. I really like using it and the scent is somewhat different. I look forward to using it all week.
