  1. Did some research and the Schick Injector System doesn't come into play until 1971. They also stopped with the cases for the razors around 1974/75 except for the adjustables and Lady Eversharp razors, at that point it is all cardboard blister packs with a free razor included with blades until the Type N razors are introduced. My guess based on the instruction sheet is that is 1971 since both 71-71 on the sheet one probably is a date and secondly the probably marketed that razor as a low cost alternative to the Lady Eversharp since the Lady Eversharp sold for $1.50 to $2.00 a piece and the Type L razors usually sold for under $1.00 with blades.

  2. I am going to say for sure at least the instruction sheet if not also the razor is indeed a 1971. After looking at a bunch of old Schick packaging and instructions whenever you see the following M-xx-xx the first M is for Milford the first numbers are the year the second set of numbers I don't know what they signify yet could be for the specific type of form or packaging. So if you see M-63-12 the 63 signifies the year is 1963. In the case of that razor since it says M-71-71 the year is 1971.

  4. M3 adjustable with what appears to be a M2 adjustment knob (cross in the dot). Was the “protector” feature only offered on the M3?

  6. I think that is a M2 varient razor possibly, I think the blade protecters came with the M2 only.

  10. That is an M2 the protector feature is what makes an M2 what it is. Any razor with that feature is a 73 - 82. What is unique is the handle without the adjustable by Schick sticker. I'd put it somewhere towards the back end of the production run late 70s into the 80s.
