..my path to daily comfortable shaves..couldn't shave more than 3 times a week without irritation..this worked for me....
Thanks, Jason! I quite like the Lord Platinums, especially for the price. Bought a 100 pack after trying a tuck.
Oh yes the cold beers were just the ticket. No shaving related items were purchased during the weekend.
very good?....i am eyeballing that supply v2 highly polished razor set..it could end my future schick collecting..i prefer metal razors.well i would still buy and f type if one presented itself but the v2 ticks the boxes..
November 3rd No Repeat Razor: Gillette Redtip Blade: Voskhod Brush: Parker Silvertip Faux Horn SS & AS: Stirling Executive Man I really like RedTips and I have several. Seems I am more comfortable using a classic when I know I have a spare. So, you'll see multiple RedTips in my SOTD reports this month. Great shave! I love the Voskhod blades in aggressive razors. Smooth without nics and irritation. First shave with the new water heater. Only set off the smoke alarm twice while soldering fittings. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
i also like that colonial silversmith head but prefer the generals handle.the silversmith reminds me of a new sc shape on the sides.however in my mind i have invested too much in my gillettes to replace them and must use them.don't want them sidelined from a modern better shaving de,hence my reluctance to indulge further in de.happy shopping er i mean shaving..
November 3 Gillette NEW SC Voskhod Teflon Coated DE (2) 30 Day Crew LE Poculi handle w/APShaveCo 28mm SynBad knot (flat top) Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood Alum, Thayers WH, USB, Floid Vigoroso & Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo EdT I finished up the container of Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood cream this morning. It was a top-notch English shave cream with a very pleasant, although light, Sandalwood scent. I'd definitely consider this one again for re-purchase. I will eventually revisit Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood for comparison purposes. I suspect it may edge out T&H simply due to price. In my overall effort to consolidate inventory to a few favorites, I'm also powering through a large bottle of Floid Vigoroso aftershave and a bottle of Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo EdT. Both juices have roots in Italy, and they work well (for me) when applied together. Both containers are half empty. I should finish them both around year-end. I've been enjoying three-pass shaves the past few days with no ill effects. I usually have to stop at two passes plus touch ups. The OCtober setup has treated me exceptionally well. I'll stick with it a few more days and then move to my birth year Gillette Fat Boy and a different brush. I plan to alternate between two new pucks of soap until they are used up: Mike's Natural Soaps Hungarian Lavender and JabonMan Eufros Tierra Húmeda (translated as moist soil or wet earth ... "scented with musky Earth, rainy, moist, fallen trees, and moss" according to West Coast Shaving's website). I have high expectations for both soaps, and they'll get an extensive side-by-side comparison in the next few months. I hope you all are having a great weekend. We're having beautiful weather here in our neck of the woods.
