Nov 4th Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements PS - Tube 2.0 Darwin 2 Band Badger Martin De Candre SC - Fougère Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus Steel - Green Kirinite Ginger's Garden AS - Fougère Fern 2.5 pass DFS+. 'Frigga' went through a quick round of pasted strops/linen/leather this morning...and the extra few minutes of calm paid off. Smooth, sharp and quiet for 2.5 passes with no issues. Nearly perfect shave, just barely missed a BBS (ever elusive quarter sized patch under chin on right side). The MdC and Darwin brush a lot of fun together, a slick concoction of a great aroma. Finished up with GG's Fougère Fern, a pleasant blend of both fragrances that leaves a hydrated face feel still 3+ hours after this morning's shave. One note, the little dot/line near the blade edge...part of the Damascus steel process and character it appears, not a water stain or anything I can tell is a 'problem'. It doesn't cross to the other side of the blade, or even a different texture that you can feel when running a finger nail over it. Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
