Impressive Osiris @Keithmax ! Henckles Friodur 14, bought NOS and honed up yesterday. This is a BIG razor, it makes my 7/8 TI Spartacus and a Filly 14 seem dainty even though it’s very hollow, it sings a bit. But boy what a shave! It mowed everything down to BDBS in two passes, with ease. Soap was ABC hard soap followed by a dab of ABC almond balm. Perfect 10/10.
Thanks all - it was a wonderful trip and I enjoyed having a few pints and drams with my friend across the pond.

Joseph Rodgers ivory frameback, cream and balm was Floris 89, cream cut with a little unscented XPEC since it is robustly scented. The razor was freshly honed on a favorite finisher as there was a small section that wasn’t quite ‘there’. It is now, BBS and then some.

M. Jung was an importer of German made razors 100 years ago. This one was new old stock when found. The razor's edge was honed on a combination of 3m films and stones plus finished on 200k diamond pasted balsa. The shave is SAS. M. Hook nose TI Spartacus, not the best ground razor there ever was, but shaves fantastically, IOW it’s a pretty typical modern TI razor. Soap was MdC original lathered with a Simpsons 57, and a splash of Myrsol did the AS honors. Then a splash or two of Agua Lavanda Puig topped things off. Old Blue Eyes would approve.
