Traditional Straight Shave #114 30 Consecutive Same Straight Rule(4) Wostenholm 5/8 Square Point Stirling Boar Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS Modessa WitchHazel not pictured Nivea ASB not pictured This is the fourth shave of using the same razor and lineup. I wetted the brush and picked up the soap from the tub. A nice wet lather ensued. I did my normal passes and very little touch up for a comfortable smooth shave just shy of BBS. I hit my previous nick, but it quickly stopped bleeding. It was also an irritation free shave. Hit my mug with Modessa WitchHazel. Applied the matching aftershave and the Nivea ASB, respectively. Thanks Andrew! I am doing this challenge to see if my stropping is fine and how well I honed this razor with lapping films. I am quite confident that my stropping is fine, but this challenge will let me know. When you have 13 straights, you only use every razor 2x per month, which is 24x a year. Usually, razors can go 50 to 60 shaves in between honings. So, I started this challenge with 2 previous shaves on this razor. With four shaves completed on this challenge, the total is now 6. This is a win-win because it will determine how I am doing with stropping and how I did with my initial honing. It really is a milestone moment in my journey.

So far with my 2 Dovo's and this Wostenholm, they have stayed sharped with my lapping films. I have 5 shaves on my Dovo Special and only 3 on my Dovo Best. Quite frankly, it is pretty exciting for me.
