Final weigh in after thirteen shaves with one week rest:

    I think I need a new scale.

Thanks, Rick! I tried it that way and there is a very small amount of play in the alignment still, so i had to re-do it a few times to get it perfect. And i managed to somehow slice my thumb, it's a good idea to play with razors at 3am after not enough coffee. :D It wasn't too bad though, but it bled enough to make a mess. I had band-aids handy though, the ones that you have to cut to length yourself, i just used the razor blade to cut it and put the band-aid on tight enough that it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not very familiar with aggressive razors and it's actually my first adjustable too. I'll try it with a Treet or something not too sharp just to make sure i don't wreck my face too badly if my technique slips. I've been riding the cap with my other razors though, except for a few tough spots where it's just easier to maneuver without doing so.

Or, you could spend that money to buy a new razor, blades, soap or something else!

Sorry about the thumb, Daniel. I can sympathize.
The company nurse called me back in to get a tetanus shot this morning.

    Cuts can be quite annoying.
I should get one too, can't remember when i got the shot last time. Probably 10-12 years ago.

    Good evening guys!
    Straight razor shave #115
30 same straight razor and setup rule (5)
    Wolstenholm 5/8 Sq Pt
    Stirling Boar
    Stirling Sandalwood AS and SS
    Nivea ASB not pictured
Everything went well with this shave. Made a nice wet lather that had the typical, excellent Stirling slickness. Did my normal amount of passes on a 28 hr stubble that gave my a BBS without any drama. Finished with the matching aftershave and Nivea ASB, respectively. Well, I have 5 shaves completed and 25 more to complete this challenge. Thanks for your support guys. I really appreciate. Have a great evening and a great Friday, guys! 20191101_142822.jpg 20191101_142822.jpg

This is why the 30 DC crew is the best. The diverse knowledge of the 30DC members is quite extensive!
