    good morning,fine shave Terry.gsb are a great blade.haven't tried feather blades because my gillette blades work well for me.glad you like them,.

    Unfortunately, it is the first time that I have seen that razor. My safety razor knowledge is limited to Fatboys, Slims, the Gillette colored tips, Rockwell 6C and Model T and the VDH. I am familiar with many others by the shared experiences of the 30DC members. In all fairness, my interests lie mainly with straights and have a more working knowledge with them.

    good morning gents,sunday shave..went a little older school this morning.canadian ww2 service razor with the steel baseplate,aluminum cap and plastic handle.loaded with a gsb,lathered the erasmic soap/stag bake lite bowl with the canadian rubberset boar.fantastic slick face lather,the ultra light tech got me a near bbs in 3 easy passes..no drama.just smooth.wife works again today,so i will putter around the house.no adult beverages today so less funny pics..we'll see;)..clubman special reserve to finish..awesome..indy jones in a house coat..have a fine sunday everyone..

    Good evening, gents!
    DSC_0714.JPG I couldn't resist. Two pass shave after a warm shower, it went quite well. The blade felt like it was on it's way out, but i managed to get a close and fairly comfortable shave anyways. No irritation, tiny scrape on the mole which stopped bleeding by itself.

    Busy morning already. Getting ready visit my wife's Aunt and Uncle for a belated Diwali luncheon. It is really not the same without the kids. Broke out some different hardware this morning. Going with the 47 SS and a Zenith Boar. The big boar made short work of loading and lathering the Dirty Ginger. After using the Nodachi last week the 47 SS felt like a mild mannered toy but delivered a three pass BBS shave. A splash of the matching AS and I hope I am ready for an afternoon of extended family. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
