Thank you Joe. My back is a result of a misspent youth. Years racing Motocross followed by the time humping a pack in the Army did a number on my lower back. L3, 4 and 5 are inset by 11mm and pinch a nerve at the slightest provocation.

Awesome image and shave Jim! Love the close ups.

    Thank you Joe.

No idea. I'm the second owner of this razor (BST on B&B). Seller said it was freshly honed to 'shave ready' by his standards. When I received, it was rinsed/wiped and I performed Glen's shave test. Passed with flying colors. My first shave with it being one of the best straight razor shaves I've ever had. All I've done since is pasted strop (14k/50k/100k then linen/leather) when it feels tuggy (which I think is twice now), and leather/linen strop it every other shave. I don't track details on any of my razors (only a cumulative total of open edge shaves with those I have).

I have a pinched nerve in my lower lumbar area......it's led to a very cold sensation in my right foot.

Thanks Terry! If I stop looking, I'll miss that 5 gallon bucket of Toggles. I still think it's out there. Meanwhile I pass up Flare Tips and Schicks that are priced too high. A couple of bucks for trade fodder makes sense. I need stuff to add to The Traveling Box when it makes it's 4th pass.

There does seem to be a natural progression to this shave thing we do. Try it out as a way to save money, or avoid razor burn, or whatever honestly good reason we have, discover how awesome it is, see all the shiny things and fancy soaps, brushes, etc., and try to acquire them all. Then, after learning proper technique and trying out various styles of razors and other products, realizing that technique really is all that's required to get the best shaves of your life. In the meantime we've amassed rooms full of really cool gear that may help keep us from getting bored, but have no other effect on results. No harm in having variety. It just isn't a necessary part of the equation to good shaves. Let me know if you start that SA group. Just make sure the meeting room doesn't include a razor of any kind. Anything shiny will be a problem.

I did rub on some CDB balm this morning that seemed to help a little.

Great report and shave Terry! Ran out of a juice....NICE! Time to reorder!

Another finished bottle....awesome! Great shave Dale!

Very nice looking razor Perry! Love it. Gonna make me expand the SE collection someday.....

So....been there done that a few years ago. Walking pneumonia 3 times in 11 months. This with having the flu shot. Been getting the flu and pneumonia shot/vaccine as often as my doctor tells me to now....and (knock on wood), I've not had either since.

    Nada! :) It's Yummilicious!

Do you find the CBD to be effective? I have really thought about trying it for my back.

Thanks, Blair! The good thing about injectors and vintage SEs is that they're not too expensive and are easily found. I've never paid more than $20 for any razor I own.

Very nice image, shave and report Gary!

That painterly filter worked very well on that image Jim! Nice. Great Tabac Tuesday as well!

Ditto. Our school district didn't observe this holiday this year. Longer holiday over the Dec/Jan break was the reason. However, many of the elementary and middle schools do assemble for a short time. The elementary that the girls attended invite any Veterans to be there. It's grown to be standing room only. The HS Band leaders make an appearance (and play) also. The elementary also has a very nice display wall for Veterans the entire month of November).

Very cool image and line up Clint.....must resist that Zenith Olive handle....it's purdy. Hope the back pain eases!

Great report and thoughts Joseph! I've felt the same way....but not for long. ;) Having too much fun! Nice setup and shave as always.

Nice report and image Danny! Similar thoughts on the OneBlade Core. Enjoy the other options I have much better!

Nice report Jason. Love that brush and the mixed colors on the razor!

I'm sure there's another great shave for you coming very soon, don't fret it much. Great details!

Great shave and report Joseph. I agree that I could easily cut the shave den by a massive amount and be happy. I am glad it's not that cold here. Stay Warm.

Excellent post Danny. The Honey Suckle scent reminds me of the real thing a little too much.

    Fantastic picture Jason.

    Magazine quality photo Blair. Bravo.

It does give me some good relief for about 2 hours or so. It really helps at night by letting me get to sleep. I would say buy one that certifies no THC and check with your employer if you are subject to a drug test. Working for myself I am not worried about a drug test at all.
