Mrs. Johnson was a 5th grade teacher and she had this one little boy that was such a problem. He never understood anything and had to have lessons repeated many, many times. He was also quite the discipline problem. Always had to be corrected for yelling in class, jumping out of his seat, etc. etc. etc. But...... Mrs. Johnson had a special soft spot for little Eddy. Well, little Eddy left 5th grade and Mrs. Johnson would go on to retire many, many years later. Years after her retirement, Mrs. Johnson became ill with a heart condition. She had been admitted to the local hospital when things started getting bad. There was Mrs. Johnson in her hospital bed, all hooked up to monitors and oxygen when …...…….. Little Eddy walked in!!! Now, I bet you think that Little Eddy went on to become a famous heart surgeon and that Eddy would come in at the critical hour and fix her heart and that he and Mrs. Johnson would have a beautiful reunion! No. Little Eddy was the janitor who came in to sweep her floors. The broom got caught on the cardiac monitor and the oxygen tubes. They were all pulled out. Mrs. Johnson passed away shortly there after...….
