13/16 Cape 2000 Swedish steel, soap was MdC fougere lathered with a Simpsons 59, and a splash of Myrsol finished up. Nothing really fancy here, just dependable, well-performing hardware and software that you always know will deliver a great shave.
6/8 Tanifuji Three Dolls Had a wonderful shave with this Vintage Japanese blade. Was BBS in two passes. Great steel with extremely keen edge.
Like the Tanifuji @M14Shooter and the Admiralty, great scent, but strongly scented. I have most of a tub left and figure that I can cut it with MdC or XPEC unscented to taste.
Best shave for the first time with this ERN 1166 I restored a while back. I usually don’t get along with extra hollow, but the first JNAT edge I put on it tonight was excellent. Buttery smooth and no irritation 3 pass shave.
Tim Zowada... really appreciate the work that went into this one. I think this is black walnut, but as usual, I could be wrong. Enjoy your shave. Tom

Wow, that is really sweet. I love walnut, so it just puts the blade over the top. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Thank you Gary. It is such a beautiful pattern. Thanks Chris. A very cool design to his scales... I’m a fan.
Two test razors, using clear water finishing on a pair of jnats, details in the honing thread. The stone pictured made a little better edge, but not huge. The cream a]was SMN lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a dab of SMN balm finished up.
