I had ordered a used Above the Tie aluminum bamboo handle off of Ebay and it turned out to be what I think is a stainless steel RazoRock bamboo handle. I contacted the seller and we worked out a partial refund and I kept the handle. It is a nice handle. While doing some research on ATT's website I noticed that they had added a lot of "returns" to their site at 50 percent off of new price. Long story short the following is on the way in to the den from ATT.

    Kronus SS Handle
    Bamboo Aluminum Handle
    R1 SS Plate
    R2 SS Plate

I need to stay off of ATT's site.:)

If it works it gets my vote.
Not that I'll buy another 100, but in this razor, I can use them.

    November 15

    Razor - Gem 1916
    Blade - CVS Carbon SE
Soap - Soap Blood on Steel 2018 (Jeeves)
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum

Congratulations!! We made it to the end of another week.....AND......halfway through NOVember. Just two weeks to go before DECadent December when we roll out the best of the best, shiniest of the shiny, or just the most enjoyable of the enjoyable. More on that to come.

I decided to throw in a single edge shave as the month hit the halfway point. The Gem 1916 with a Carbon CVS blade is a real treat to use. Noisy but smooth and highly effective. Classic old time shave with this razor and three passes got me so smooth I might never need to shave again. I still will, though, just for fun. The original Blood on Steel provided a fantastic lather with the original LE brush from @jtspartan and made for one totally enjoyable shave. No blood, quiet alum.....yep, the perfect way to end a Friday.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

    RyX DoH!

I made mine about lather. Load heavily, hydrate to juicy, don't worry about washing some down the drain. It really improved shave quality, and guess how many tubs of soap I've used up? None because I've bought em quicker than I can lather 'em.
Thanks Jim! Daughter has been on a cruise all week, left me in charge. The grand kids & I have come to an understanding on who's in charge. They really miss her and can't wait for Mommy to get home so they don't have to run things.
Thanks Danny! Glad you got in on The Fat!. Coopers are a little more difficult to lay hands on. Not to worry. They are an interesting style, different from TTO & 3pc. Best ever? I've still evaluating. Certainly good & leaning to the efficient/aggressive. As to the kids, I could turn the TV off and just watch them. It would be moaning and groaning, but entertaining.
    Thanks Andrew!
Thank you, and thank you Clint!
Thanks Joseph! I didn't see you mention the KMF before you tried it. I found the very same on a shelf, local health food shop, so I tried it. The cream is acceptable. The patchouli is too peaceful. I wanted rowdy patchouli. I might have put my bottle in The Traveling box, or else in the "why do I have this stuff" box.
Thanks Joe! We're fortunate to have plenty of similar age kids living nearby. I've always preferred to have the neighbors kids in my yard than wonder where my crew went. I used to have grass in the front yard, too. No great loss, less to mow.
    Thanks Dan!
