I try to use DECadent DECember to demonstrate the different meanings of the word. Sure it means fancy, expensive, luxurious, over the top gear and products. But.....it can be just as decadent to use a Superspeed with Arko and a nice cheap boar brush if that's what creates the best and most luxurious feeling shave.
I can buy into both of these. I don't have anything high end, but I have a few things I am proud to own and that's decadent to me. Sounds like fun! I'm still using DECember as an excuse to Rhodium plate a Superspeed, and probably a NEW LC.
Still way to busy to keep so I just dropped in to report a shave. Saturday shave was with this 7/8 Dorko just off a refresh. A nice shave to start the weekend. The fog was so thick I could not see the building across from my apartment this morning.
I kept this acquisition close to my chest, Rick. (BTW, I have something else I have been keeping a secret as well... ) I agree 100% with your assessment. This is no joke: when I turned the spout to open it, I got a nice, indeed really nice patchouli whiff; one that I remember from the KMF patchouli body wash I owned many years ago. Then...nada. That was it, the final vestiges of the scent. It was as if I let the entire sniffy-sniff out of the container. After that, all I could get was a "plastic" smell. Complete waste of money.
