Wonderful shave, Joseph! I agree that The Fat looks different than some of the other artisan soaps we use and love, but the performance is not really much different in my experience.

I have a trip to Chicago coming up next month. I'll have some time to swing into Merz Apothecary and look at their shaving goods. They carry a good selection of wet shaving supplies, and with their Chicago location they had a big selection of Oleo soaps and splashes. That's where I picked up New City. I'll aim for a small purchase there and try not to order anything until then.

Stirling's Black Friday sale will be hard to resist, though......
