November 16, 2019 Gillette 1947 SS Gillette 7 o’clock Yellow SOC Mistura Taj A&E “The City” Fine Santal Absolut A early shave with a mid afternoon post. The SOC Mistura loaded and lathered The City with ease. The mixed boar/badger knot is a joy to use face lathering. The scent of "The City"seems to be improving with each use. Off the puck the scent is very sweet with an gourmand quality. While face lathering the scent opened up picking up the sandalwood and accompanying notes. Three passes and touch ups with the 47 SS just missed the baby. My lower right neck proved to be my nemesis. A splash of Fine Santal Absolut left was the perfect end to the shave.
