  1. Sunday shave: Today I had plenty of time for a leisurely shave so I went with a big razor and one of my top software products. The edge this Osiris was sharp and smooth while the Castle Forbes was slick and since I had some much lather over I went a heard did a fifth pass. When the stars align like this no problem adding a pass. I think we have a couple of patchouli fans including Joseph, @Primotenore , Dior Patchouli Imperial is the finish I have ever tried, it does not have the head shop vibe at all.

    Proraso Styptic Gel
    Proraso AS - Red

Cold water traveling shave. 2.5 passes. DFS- with a swath of ‘I shouldn’t have tried that’. Great shave, everything going as expected til I tried the jawline XTG, almost ATG, on the lower right that I do with my straights and kamisoris with little problem. Felt a little tuggy, maybe a little too much pressure, and crimson started weeping everywhere (it is smooth though:rolleyes:)... Proraso styptic barely kept up for awhile. Followed with Proraso AS and it’s better, but highly irritated. Oh well. Tomorrow’s back to my Drew Dick November rule straight. Yay! And...time to replace my favorite stank...this 2nd bottle is toast.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

good morning gents, sunday shave..tried the karve handle on the new sc head and cool,it fits..awesome..loaded with a gsb,jr's #282 zebrawood badger built a slick sandpiper lather,2+ smooth passes later the bbs was here.sandpiper a/s and the ysl la nuit de l'homme edt to send it home..my favorite stirling at present..i love how the cross hatching on the stirling soap label matches the karve pattern.getting this handle ticks so many boxes..very happy it fits the small opening on sc baseplates..bonus..have a fantastic sunday everyone..
  20. Terrific shave, setup and photo, Gary! Have a nice Sunday as well!
