    I consider the Ladas my least favourite and only truly 'substandard/don't even bother' Russian blade, Terry. Cannot get through a shave with one. Don't tell the blade Czar...
    Hope you get over your cold soon, Perry. Look at those Oranges! You're giving @jluc a run for this money this morning...
    Whenever you pull out that brass General, Clint, I'm enthralled. Just an awesome looking razor. I'm jealous of something else too- based on timezones, you are already half way through Monday...

    Interesting that you took the Shave Stick to a bowl, Gary. Did you find a difference that way?
    I'm a fan of Fine soaps as well, Danny, but haven't had the gumption to try the Snake Bite yet.

    Congrats on the NEW, Jeff! Haven't heard of those blades...
    I could easily make the LC a daily driver. The goodwill with a similar baseplate is right there too.
    Yup, as I often say, there's a reason that simple design lasted for 40 years- the Tech works.
    What a brush! What a photo!
    Heritage is certainly making a name for itself in a very short time.
    The razor and brush are super cool, Ken. Can we have a recording of what your wife says when you ask her about the Veg, please? :happy097:

    I don't want to come off sounding like a smart-ass but wanted to share some more pics of my Kirby Beard razors with Joseph and Jason and anyone else if anyone is interested. Kirby Beard was once on my "White Whale" list and I was lucky enough to fine two in really good shape, one made in 1930, the other 1942. I can't say for certain, but Kirby Beard may have been the original scallop cap/bar razor. I'm certainly no expert but they are among my very favorite razors I own.

    No I have not tried the V2 Jeff. Mark has both and if I recall correctly the V2 is more aggressive.

    Excellent shaves, all!

    I've been really busy today, but i did shave. The blade was getting dull and i nicked myself once, but otherwise the shave was decent. Not very close, but close enough.
    No time for a pic today, sorry.
