Monday NOvember 18 No Repeat (mostly) NOvember. No repeats so far except for scuttle, blades, and alum. Up today is one of my Eclipse Red Ring razors. Bowl/Scuttle - GP12 Soap - Stirling Dirty South Shavers 2019 Brush - M&F Blade - Gillette Platinum (6) Razor - Eclipse Red Ring Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Stirling Dirty South Shavers 2019 A/S Shave rating 5 of 5 I find the Red Ring to be a very mild shaver with almost no blade feel. Shaved today on 3 days growth after not shaving over the weekend. Quite a few misses on first pass but 2nd pass picked up everything. Overall a very good BBS shave. This is an excellent soap, very slick and a nice thick lather. A/S smells nice too. The alum was quiet. Happy NOvember and great shaves everyone. - Ken
The Tuesday Way: same go around as today-however: Brush-Jayaruh #59. I did this in a different thread-NOW I'm good.

NOVember 2019 November 18 Razor - RazoRock TTO DE Blade - Soap - Stirling Iced Pineapple Brush - The Canuck Post - Alum It's Menthol Monday! Time to break out the Iced Pineapple from Stirling and the Canuck brush to make truckloads of some of the best smelling lather ever. With the menthol kick this is one fine soap. For the hardware - how about the RazoRock TTO DE. A razor you don't see me pull out much, mine has a minor defect that really doesn't change how it shaves. It took me awhile to get this razor under control as it is quite aggressive in feel. The blade is ever present and angle is king. Once you master it you have a fine shaving tool in your hands. I went with the Nacet blade from St. Pete's in Russia. This is Gillette's Russian Stainless blade that compares to the Muscovite Ladas. It has that unique wrapper with the crocodile cut in half and yes, it is sharp and tough. A very nice blade, just like the Ladas. You can't go wrong with either. Three passes, I smell great, feel great and two days growth was mowed down with ease. Have a fantastic Tuesday!
