No Repeat (mostly) NOvember. No repeats so far except for scuttle, blades, and alum. Up today is one of my Eclipse Red Ring razors.

I find the Red Ring to be a very mild shaver with almost no blade feel. Shaved today on 3 days growth after not shaving over the weekend. Quite a few misses on first pass but 2nd pass picked up everything. Overall a very good BBS shave. This is an excellent soap, very slick and a nice thick lather. A/S smells nice too. The alum was quiet.

Thanks Gary! Never really "went away". But I'm back to hundreds of post behind and never caught up. Fortunately the 30DC is a self policing group. I'm fairly certain no one's been up to no good.

I think I've got some Ladas blades Terry. I suspect my beard is lighter than yours so I'll give them a try next blade change if I remember! Thanks for the combo update.

Nice shave, Ken! I have that set as well and enjoy the scent. Has a fougere type of scent to me. I'll get mine out soon.

That's how FrankenSoaps happen! Rather than fight to get the scrapes to lather, move them to a container to join others. There are many shared scents in shave soaps so mixing them works. Best part is you get all the best attributes of all the contributions. It also helps out any lesser quality bits.

Thanks Jeff, The menthol was added to the aftershave splash not the soap. I got the splash from Perry and it was metholated by him.
