Doug. I am doing well. Hope you are also. I have been across the street doing SE’s. But I have come in possession of some nice DE’s so I am back on the DE’s for a while. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
NOVember 2019 November 19 Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy Blade - Soap - Stirling Barbershop Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum Beautiful day in the Lou today with sunshine and temps in the 50's. Better day coming with highs tomorrow mid-60's. Yep, it's November here. Just wait and see what the weather will do. For the shave tonight I grabbed the Fatboy and paired it with another Super-Max blade, the Zorrik Super Platinum. This blade was originally from Vidyut in India, and I would put it on the lower tier of Super-Max blades. It definitely isn't horrible, but it also definitely isn't terrible sharp. A bit draggy but not as bad as some. Even with "sputtered technology" it rises maybe as high as a Derby, probably a bit less actually. Still, with technique it will get the job done. Stirling Barbershop and the JR46 for the perfect lather. Three passes, high level DFS and I'm a happy camper. Tomorrow we hit the middle of the week! And.....it's an anniversary. Of what, you ask? Tune in tomorrow! Have a great Wednesday!
