    Thanks, Danny! I am quite pleased with the honing job that I performed on this razor. I purchased it shave ready, but after a number of shaves, it was losing it's edge. I really got this vintage for a song off EBay and it is risen to one of my top shavers. Fortunately, all of my straights are top shavers! Lol!

    November 20 SOTD:

    Razor: PAA Prismatic
    Blade: Polsilver
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: PAA Malbolge
    Aftershave: PAA Malbolge

    After all the talk about the Kirby Beard Razors, I realized I had this razor @Keithmax included as part of a trade we made a few months back. I decided to pull it out for a spin, and it is quite a nice shaver. Two passes for a DFS+.

    @jluc, I did a direct sniff between this and Astro Traveler. While they are similar, they are definitely different. When I sniffed them side by side, this one had quite the anise scent I previously did not get, and I got this for quite a while today. The Tobacco is also very much stronger in this soap. In the Astro Traveler, the nutmeg, pepper, and saffron really come out when compared to Malbolge. my preference is still Astro Traveler, but both scents are very nice.

    I went to our refinery a little south of Houston today, and I didn't have cell phone reception, so it took me a bit to get caught up. I hope everyone has had a great day.
