Happy with my "Throwback Thursday" shave today. It's a delight that the Industry Of Bay Rum Shaving Products(IBSSP)has introduced shave soap into the mix. I'm probably the 1,000th person to say that, but hey what the hey? Got good loading strength with the help of the Stoylin "Pro-Handle" Synthetic brush. It gave me enough for 3 passes, but I did just the two, as that appeared to suffice. I think I did too much of the Stephan Bay Rum aftershave, as there was an immediate clove smell that I never had with previous "dousing". But it settled down later to a more balanced scent. As an additional feature for my "Throwback Thursday", I put some Stephan Hair-Styling Gel on, just out of the shower and pre-shave. Like the Bay Rum, that came in 1897, too.

Thanks Joe....y'know, the Jeeves BR soap gives me good preparation for whenever I get around to my "Bill" Neumann(Wm. Neumann&CO)purchase. BN soaps are just one oz.. more that those of Jeeves.

 

I bet you get more of a "zing" with WW than I do with Stephan BR(I'd say whiskey outzings clove).

thank you Jim..i shaved early this morning/late evening.sometimes i wake up a little late due to the dark this time of year..i may start evening shaves or a mix of during the winter..

 

probably ,but not bad ,unless i overshave a little...
