I probably did name the maker. Been seeing them around for a couple of years. The gray metallic riveted looking bowl has caught my eye more than once. Came close to ordering one, but I discovered my present suribachi bowls just in time. Not the fat bumps like S.P. bowls - these have a fine combed texture and a more open hemispherical shape.

I went ahead and got the ridged top cap. It was an extra five bucks. I figured what the heck.

I wish. This isn't a real jeepy Jeep from days gone by. Don't get me wrong - I prefer the older real Jeeps. But I don't off road, and do need a kid hauler/occasional handyman tool & material truck. The one I have been considering is a 2008 Patriot with a 2.0L 4 cylinder.

It's front wheel drive, leather seats, needs tires, 133K miles, & made by Chrysler. Took it for a test drive and it's peppy. The other vehicle I'm eyeing hard is a '05 Mazda Tribute.

It's also front wheel drive, a 3.0 V-6, has new tires, needs a battery, 94K miles, and they're asking $300 less. Comparing the two, the Jeeps is newer, better gas mileage, but it's a Chrysler. I'm drawn to the Mazda since I've always liked Fords, though it's more narrow of body and won't get as good highway mileage.

If anyone has opinions on either of these two from personal experience, please share!

If it helps....Mazda (Ford). We almost got the Ford Escape for wifey back when the girls were still in car seats, about the 2006 time frame. Ended up with a Honda Pilot (good deal on a lease back then). Then moved to a VW Passat. Now...it's time to move on, and we're back looking at either the Escape or the Mazda CX-5. Mazda holds it's value a bit better, comes std with options that require a step up in the Ford packages.

Is it actually a floating head razor? They had two head designs that looked very similar. I never found the floating head to be "mild."

It is based in the Kirby. I didn't even know it until reading the discussion here. Honestly, I had somewhat passed over this razor when it cake in the box, but it is a good shaver. I should have used it a long time ago.
