  6. I am doing a 30 consecutive same straight razor shave and setup challenge. I just finished my 15th consecutive shave with my Wostenholm 5 /8 full hollow square point. 20191120_202559.jpg 20191120_202559.jpg

  8. Two shave and two Portland Razor Co blades.

Friday I wanted a razor that is easy to hand and this one is the easiest one in the den, PRC 6/8 western grind kami.

Saturday I went fancier with a PRC 7/8 Damascus blade.

6/8 Rodgers in ivory on it’s maiden shave. Shaved like a million bucks, BDBS. Soap was 3P lathered with a Tulip 2, and a splash of Agua Balsamica finished up a perfect 10/10 shave.
  12. I'm a sucker for a Rodgers... and that one is classic. Nice pickup Steve.
  13. Forgot to post this yesterday.

This was the first shave for me with these razors. Both performed quite well. The Hoshitombo was shave ready when I acquired it. This was also the first outing for the Boar hair brush I finally finished making.
  14. Sunday's shave was with a big 8/8 Silverloaf with a near wedge grind and a smile. The finish on this girl is so bright and shiny it is hard to get a good picture. This was the first shave after giving her the Chuck Naill @Chuck Naill treatment, after the Shapton Glass 16k it was 100k then 200k pasted strops. The edge was excellent and I had a great shave. Sadly the shave ended in disaster as when I put her in stand to dry, the razor fell over and on the floor ruining the edge.

  15. The brush turned out fantastic!
  16. Thank you. This is only the second brush I've made for myself. One of my friends has 4 or 5 of mine so I figured it was about time I made one for myself. I also made myself another handle that I just need to figure out what knot for.
