Thanks Gary. The jury is still out on the Durham, not the closest shave but I did not want to push it with that big head and thick blade this morning. It was only the first time using it so I will need to get used to this razor and blade. Steve

VdH Bowl Fine Lather Bowl Zenith S6 Gentleman Jon's Alum Block Pitron Classic AS Eucalyptus Mint Deodorant Million Dollar Hair Tonic I was so excited to try this soap. I was wrong. Look at this horrible excuse for Lather. This was actually my second try. One short phone call and I have an extra 6 hour shift dropped on me later A 2 pass maintenance shave to keep me respectable and a very nice finish.

SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Mitchell's Wool Fat Jayaruh #313 Ever-Ready Lather Catcher Henckels Wedge CWR Cella After Shave My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Henckels Wedge blade. It was not as close as I would like, so I did a clean up pass with my Schick G and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Saturday SOTN (I fell asleep and forgot to post it!) A fresh blade and a new cream for me tonight. I posted over in "the Haul" but I received two new shaving creams from across the pond.
