Thank you Jeff. I usually use a DE for 3 shaves before moving on. I have only tried the 2 hybrid plates. They both worked well. The curved hybrid plate seems to be a good mix of smoothness and efficiency. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nov 24th No Repeat Razor: Gillette BlueTip Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless Brush: Omega S-Brush 10019 SS: Chiseled Face Trade Winds AS: Stirling Deep Blue Sea I figured I'd get in at least one shave with my less aggressive razors. I can see why the BlueTip is a good razor for a beginner. Even with a Feather it's very forgiving. It was a nice, fast, and easy shave with no concerns. Not quite BBS but close enough for a lazy Sunday. I'm way behind but may be able to catch up today. It will be interesting to see who disappears and who spends extra time online during the holiday.
Thank you, Jim! This is the first time I got to use it, as I had it shipped to my parents house since we weren't sure what address we would have. I love the knot.
no Jeff, just the monobilt.not really looking to build a non gillette collection, with a minor exception or 3 ,the cooper monobilt was one of them.a colonial silversmith and karve would round out my collection.
