MENTHOL MONDAY

The Shave Den( 2X Iced) Havvoc- its sad to say that the TSD soaps/Creams are no longer available. Joanna had some quality products that were made to order and you could customize and add menthol to any scent which is a great idea IMO.


Performance is very good and have been happy with TSD soaps since day one. The lather consistancy is different from most other soaps with a similar ingredient list, dense yougurty texture is to be expected eith little to no bubbles. The shave was great despite some residual irritation from the day before. I added some extra menthol crystals a while back so this soap is a face freezer for sure, skin was so numb that it actually gave me the chills lol.

Scent of Havvoc is a Aqua Velva dupe but is not exactly a clone. The 2 scents are similar and pair well together (of course). Decanted some AV into this beautiful Guarlain Glass bottle to add a touch of class, the juice that was orignialy in this bottle smelled terrible but the bottle is so ornate it makes the Classic Blue liquid look really cool.

Yes. In my post I made a clickable link to the lady's Etsy shop who made this for me. The bowl has that natural appeal that really looks amazing. She hadn't made a lather bowl before. I saw some of her other pieces of wood-making and my imagination just 'saw' a lather bowl and then of course, I just had to ask if she could try to make one. It's got imperfections, but that's exactly what I wanted. It has a rugged, natural old-world appeal. Also, the method of creation results in a completely unique piece. No one else will ever have one exactly like mine.

I don't know how much Scottish is, but, to be Strong ... it's definitely strong!

Despite the blinding sun, it is a cool day, so I decided for a definitely winter soap.
In hindsight, perhaps, a little too much 'winter'.

The razor, polished yesterday, really looks brighter to me. But maybe it's just suggestion...
