Round 1-b in my shavette games. Focus R21 Evolution 1/2 DE Feather (1) Stirling 2019 BoS & Tuxedo I decided to go Feather to Feather using this tool vs Feather DX w/Pro Super. And I'm adding the Focus R28 Slim Al 1/2 DE w/GSB. The first shave with the DX was on a 2 day growth that wound up so close that following up the next day would not have been fair. 2 day growth with the R21 was as anticipated, good but a little toothy. Nothing to compare here, great shaves, but the DX glides in for an easy win. Unfortunately the R21 is just not good enough to ext the test for a day. Next up, the light weight all aluminum Focus R28. Shave on, shave free!
Very nice razors Keith! Always interesting to see your variety of software and hardware! Proraso Red in a can is awesome. I've given a can to a couple buddies who are 20+ years my senior (and always used canned gel goo). While they won't give up their Mach 3, they think Proraso canned is the bees knees upgrade. Received an unnamed Gillette (as an extra) in a multiple razor 'Bay auction. Thought...Gary. Gary would know what this is. Found out it's a Tech, but maybe a couple pieced together. November 26, 2019 Colonial Razors Brass General Feather Pro Alpha 400 with Druida Manchurian MdC Original Myrsol Agua Balsamica MdC is not the best soap in any particular category but I always get fantastic shaves whenever I use it. As anticipated today was no exception. Face lathering the MdC Original was a joy. The strong medicinal lavender scent feels the room. While the soap is very easy to lather, it works better if you take the time to add a good bit of water while lathering. Three passes and touch ups ended in a wonderful drama free BBS Shave. A splash of Myrsol Balsamica got the wife's seal of approval. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

NOvember 26th Canadian New Deluxe Stirling Finest/Maple handle Tabac Thayers Jeeves Tobacco/Bay Leaf AS Next up in the No Repeat rotation is the venerable Tabac and the Jeeves splash to make it a Tobacco Tuesday. I’m done with the razor rotation, and didn’t have a plan for the final week of shaves. The New Deluxe? Sure, why not. 3 passes later and I am quite smooth. The Tabac lather was as good as always, it just isn’t a favourite scent of mine. The Jeeves, however, is. Have a great day all!
