Is it possible that your PC and phone are on different data connections (cellular data vs wifi)? In addition to our new server, it's physically located in a different location and a newer facility, so our ip address has also moved. During a process like this our domain points to a new physical location, and sometimes this propagation does not happen instantly everywhere. It can sometimes take a couple days for the word to get out 100% everywhere. Of course this is only a possible explanation if the two devices get their data connections from different places.
Please see above post, may explain your issue. If this is your issue it will work itself out as the new ip address propagates across the net. For most this happens nearly instantly, but there are often a few smaller pockets that are a bit slow as the internet is a big place.
Yeah, I just realized I have nothing on my phone. But, sounds like (see Sparky above) that the internet is just being slow to update.
And ill bet if your phone connects to wifi at your house it works. Dns propagation will sort itself out. Could be 5 minutes or a couple days unfortunately.
Still can't get in using Tapatalk. Been trying all day. When I log in, says site is down for maintenance.
It's strange because I still get notifications from the Den from Tapatalk and also saying server is down when trying to log in.
@sparky5693 - Because you've moved the website, you may have an idea; How big is TSD? The text & photos of years of posts must be a couple of gigs.
There's a ton of data from all the years, but that data and information is our life blood. I run about 250gb of space on our server, along with a second 500gb server at different physical location to store backups. Then mix in a boatload of bandwidth and ram to keep things smooth. Doesn't sound like much when comparing to a home computer, but it's a bit different when you're renting space at a datacenter.
