NOVember 2019 November 26 Razor -Gem Micromatic OCMM Blade - CVS Carbon SE Soap - D.R. Harris Marlborough Shave Stick Brush - Jayaruh #230 Post - Alum And then there was rain. Lots of rain. OMG so much rain. Well, in parts of the area anyway. Naturally the worst was right over me for awhile. I came home soaked and ready for a shave. I was debating which razor to grab that I hadn't used yet this month and remembered the OCMM. Great shaving tool even though it can be a bit nippy. I loaded a fresh CVS carbon blade and grabbed the D.R. Harris shave stick that I don't use much. No reason other than I just forget it's there. It always produces a great lather. Slick and cushy. I chose the JR230 and almost switched. It's a small brush and since I'm face lathering from a stick I wondered how it might do. Decided to stick with it and I wasn't disappointed. More than enough lather for three passes of smooth but noisy carbon comfort. Near-BBS for a result and that's a winner! One more day before we sacrifice the annual turkeys. Hope you have fun plans and have already committed not to overeat. I'll never believe you committed to that, but neither did I. We are going to the Official Cartel Meet-Up breakfast spot - Golden Corral, for their Thanksgiving buffet on Thursday. All you can eat, including desserts, and you don't have to do dishes. Gem OCMM Gem Stainless PTFE 1 Semogue BC Mistura Stirling Electric Sheep Dr. Sana Bay Rum It has been a while since I used the OCMM, normally preferring the ClogPruf. Same great shave, just a slightly different face feel. I am making progress on the 30 day rule of no changes. A streamline delivery derailed my razor rule, but more importantly I am staying strong with the soap. I have been really lazy and only using creams while still having a stockpile of soaps to use. This is definitely helping get through it.
