Though it's not normally something I'd use on a day like today,
I thought I'd get out the Don Marco from Razorock, something I picked up on steep discount in the massive Italian Barber sales that have been going on for the past month or so. I'm not generally one for floral scents - and the extremely prominent neroli scent as one opens the aftershave bottle made me think I might have made a mistake, but I decided to go forth anyway with my plans.
In the end, surprisingly, the note for me that stands out is a sweet-ish orange from the bergamot which is paired with neroli in this formulation. Very pleasantly surprised, and this will definitely make it into my spring and summer rotation. Performance is as with all Razorock soaps I've used, quite good. Relatively easy to lather (watch the water level as I think the 'good' band is fairly narrow) and decently slick and protective. Nice smooth and moisturized face feel afterward.
Pre-shave: hot shower and hot towel
Razor: Fine Accoutrements Marvel
Blade: Gillette Nacet (#3)
Brush: Omega Pro 49
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements Ceramic Lather Bowl
Soap: RazoRock Don Marco
Aftershave: RazoRock Don Marco Splash
